Father God,
I’m so thankful for the love and goodness that you’ve shown my life. Jesus, in the past few years, I’ve been through a series of battles that I never dreamed of, not knowing some days how I was going to move forward. However, reliance on you and reminders of your promises, goodness, and steadfastness kept me putting one foot in front of the other. There were days that I didn’t feel your presence and I had to put my faith and trust in the fact that as long as I kept going, I would feel it again. And I did. Because of your goodness, I found my way back to seeing your blessings and beauty in all of the circumstances.
God, things aren’t even remotely easy right now. Not for anyone. But, if the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that you are closest to us in the valleys of life and our dependence on you gets sweeter in the struggles we have to endure. I pray that the reader of this sees your light, that they cling to your promises, and they are able to trust in your will in all of the things that you’re working on in and through them.
Jesus, I hope and pray that your hand of protection is over every individual that needs a miracle. I pray that you work through their lives to show others, including unbelievers, just how powerful your healing can be.
God, remind those of us who feel your tugging on our spirit just how important it is to dig ourselves into your Word daily and to ask you all of the hard and pressing questions in order to strengthen our faith. This world is so full of hurt, unknown circumstances, and heartbreak- I pray that above it all, YOU are the solid foundation in which we place our hope and futures. This world has taught us the meaning of “shifting sand” especially these last few years. God, help us to weather the storm(s) while anchored into your firm foundation.
I’m so thankful for the people in my life that shine you, your hope, and your love so well for the world. Keep an ember always glowing for their faith, in their hearts- never to be snuffed out.
Help everyone that reads this to sleep restful, knowing that your goodness will prevail in the end.
We love you God and are so thankful for all of the blessings you have given to our lives.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
