Good morning friends and happy Monday!
I wanted to come here first thing this week so that you have the opportunity to read a prayer over yourself and that you have encouragement first thing this morning. There is so much promise and anticipation I have in my heart this week and I want you to know I’m believing those same things for you!! One thing I’ve been praying as soon as my eyes open in the morning lately is “God, make me a good steward of the blessings (home chores, kids activities, taking care of kids, making dinner, working, etc) that you’ve put into my life today”. It’s shifted my perspective on what those blessings mean and I have a little more joy doing them every day. I encourage you to try it as well, it may make all of the difference in the world! Alright, let’s pray!
Dear Jesus,
Thank you so much for the friends that are reading this post. Thank you for their hearts that want to do more than the status quo and who strive after your blessing and favor in their lives. Father, I pray that your love is a constant reminder in the back of our minds. That no matter what we face, we hear a small voice in the back of our minds reminding us of the promises that you’ve spoken over our lives. Jesus, don’t let the difficult things win, don’t let the struggles that we face be the things that are allowed more space than that already take up having to endure. We pray that the sting of any trial we are facing be minimized and that the glory of your redemptive power be glorified above all.
God, I pray that your healing hand be over those who need a miracle. I pray that miracles happen for those without hope- that you bring a healing that only you alone can do. Jesus, I pray through the healing that will be given, others are given the opportunity to praise you and give you the honor in it all. Let these testimonies be encouragement to those who don’t yet believe, of your goodness and mercy and power.
Jesus, we are so thankful for all of the abundant blessings you’ve put into our lives, I pray that we are great stewards of those blessings and that we honor you in taking care of the responsibilities we’ve been entrusted with. Help us to love a little bigger today, forgive a little deeper, and spread hope into a world that is so desperate for a miracle.
We love you Lord, so so much. Thank you for giving us another day to praise your name and goodness. I pray this in your name, Jesus, Amen!!
This bit of scripture from my devotions a few days ago was so encouraging to me, I pray it does the same for you!
”“But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.“…”Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you. Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear. You will forget your misery; it will be like water flowing away. Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning. Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help.“

He will redeem the hard, bitter places in your life my friends, submit to His pruning and correction and allow Him to turn your darkness into light! You are so loved!! Have a great week
